Making lemonade from a disaster that occurred in my apartment, this white/off-white collection focuses on translating the unexpected with stark contrasts of mold-like textures created through machine and hand knitwear as well as felting techniques. Lace trim is used in place of traditional grosgrain in the lining of blazers to symbolize the fragility and vulnerability that comes with natural disasters. Silhouettes are elongated in the torso to represent the slowly dripping stains on white walls.
